Biography
Guanqun completed his B.Sc. degree at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in China. GuanQun has worked as a research assistant in the Applied Biochemistry & Molecular Biology Laboratory in School of Life Science at BIT, where he focused on the mechanisms underlying the triplet nucleotide repeats expansion and on the gene therapy approach to Friedreich ataxia.
In 2010, he joined VIDO-InterVac as a graduate student and is studying the pathways of infection by Neisseria gonorrhoeae under Dr. Joanne Dillon.
