Biography

Qi was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the Department of Biology , School of Medical Science at Qingdao University, Shandong, China in June 2008.  Now a Masters student in Department of Veterinary Microbiology under Dr. Qiang Liu, he is studying host and viral factors modulating HCV protein translation.

Qi has expertise in cell culture work and basic techniques of making beer, grape wine and yoghurt.  His special interests include writing detective fiction.
