Postdoctoral Position, Viral Immunology
A postdoctoral position is available immediately to work on hepatitis C virus. Our ongoing projects include:
(1) development of strategies leading to effective vaccines and
(2) study of virus-host interactions and pathogenesis.
Candidates who received a Ph.D. degree in molecular cell biology, virology, and/or immunology are encouraged to apply.
The Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization, a research institute at the University of Saskatchewan, provides excellent opportunities to collaborate with experts in bacteriology, virology, immunology, and genomics. VIDO has well-equipped laboratory and animal facilities and offers a stimulating research environment. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a team-based research environment.
